Badrinath–Panch Prayag–Rudraprayag/Srinagar

Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Later, after breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive back to Srinagar via a visit to Panchprayag. On arrival in Srinagar, check in to the hotel. Briefing about tomorrow's program. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Lights off.

Day 3

Rudraprayag to Haridwar via Rishikesh

Morning Breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Haridwar enroute visit Rishikesh Sight Seeing covering with Ram Jhula , Lakshman Jhula, Parmarth Niketan and back to haridwar attain Ganga Aarti and Check in to the hotel and dinner overnight stay in Haridwar. List of Essentials

1. Documents and Bookings
✓ Online Yatra registration is an important document; please keep it handy. It is checked at various entry points during the Yatra.
✓ Government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID). It is mandatory for domestic flights, trains and hotel check-in. Carry the original plus 2 photocopies.
✓ Emergency contact card with blood group, allergies, family numbers and hotel addresses.
✓ 4 to 6 passport-size photos (some permits and darshan passes need them).
2. Money
✓ Although all your basic necessities like travel and stay have already been taken care of, the following points are worth noting.
✓ Cash in small notes (₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100) for tolls, temples, prasad, tips and rural areas.
✓ 2 debit/credit cards from different banks, and UPI apps with a backup bank account.
✓ A money belt or hidden pouch, and a separate emergency stash of ₹2,000 to ₹3,000.
✓ Tip budget: driver, porters, hotel staff and guides.
3. Clothing (adjust for season)
✓ 6 to 8 sets of breathable cotton or quick-dry tops and bottoms.
✓ 2 to 3 modest, temple-ready outfits (kurta/dhoti/mundu for men; saree, salwar or long skirt for women). Avoid shorts, sleeveless tops and ripped clothing at religious sites.
✓ A heavy woollen jacket or shawl for cold weather in hill stations and cool mornings and evenings.
✓ A raincoat (recommended) or compact umbrella (essential round the year).
✓ Innerwear and socks for 10 to 15 days, and changing clothes for hot springs or pools.
✓ Sleepwear, a scarf or dupatta, a sun hat and sunglasses.
✓ A small laundry kit: detergent sachets, a portable clothesline and a few clothes clips.
4. Footwear
✓ Trekking shoes are a must. Please use them beforehand so that you are used to them. (Bringing brand new shoes can be uncomfortable at times).
✓ Slip-on sandals or easy-to-remove shoes (temples need frequent removal).
✓ 1 pair of comfortable walking shoes with worn-in soles.
✓ Extra socks for hot temple floors, and a spare pair of slippers for bathrooms.
5. Toiletries and Personal Care
✓ Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, sanitary products and hairbrush in travel sizes.
✓ Sunscreen SPF 30 or higher, lip balm, moisturiser, mosquito repellent and after-sun lotion.
✓ Hand sanitiser, wet wipes, tissues and a small towel or microfibre towel.
✓ Razor and personal grooming items, deodorant, and contact lenses or glasses with a spare pair.
✓ Toilet paper or a portable bidet for less-maintained facilities.
✓ Waterproof bags for wet or dirty clothes.
6. Health and Medical Kit
✓ Prescription medicines for the full 20 days plus a 3-day buffer, in original packaging with the prescription (if any).
✓ Avoid eye-lances, may not be suitable for long and dusty situation, instead go for regular spectacles/goggles.
7. Electronics and Gadgets
✓ Phone, charger, and a 10,000 to 20,000 mAh power bank (carry it in cabin baggage).
✓ A universal extension board with 3 to 4 sockets, since hotel plugs are often limited.
✓ Earphones, a car phone mount and a spare cable.
✓ Camera with a spare battery and memory card, if not using the phone.
✓ A torch or headlamp, useful for power cuts and dark temple corridors.

✓ Keep a printed list of key phrases for regional languages if travelling in non-Hindi or non-English regions.
✓ Avoid ice, raw salads and street water; prefer sealed bottled water.
